A mass of fans turn up to see 3OH!3 at KOKO

3OH!3, 29th September 2010 at KOKO in Camden, UK

It is a wet, wet, wet day in London today but it hasn’t stopped loads of 3OH!3 fans queuing up to see Sean and Nat live on stage.

We got to KOKO in Camden at about 7:30pm in the pouring rain and the queue for the show was wrapped around almost the whole block, goodness knows what time the fans at the very front of the queue got there.

We finally get in at about 8:15pm and explore the venue as it was totally new to us. It was really nice; there are 4 floors of space to watch the show from.

The support act for the night was ‘L’amore La Morgue’.
L’amore La Morgue is the remixing side project of Lostprophets front man, Ian Watkins.
He really gets the crowd into a frenzy with remixes of lady gaga and other popular hits. He really does get the entire venue ready for what is to come.

During the interval KOKO plays Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, B.O.B feat. Haley Williams, Beyonce and Tinie Tempah, the entire crowd is singing along (even to the artists they don’t really like) because there is the sort of atmosphere there that gets everyone on the same level.

The very bottom of the venue which was right in front of the stage was jam packed and a bit manic so to avoid the uber mosh, me and my friend went to the very top level. It didn’t spoil the view at all, we could see absolutely everything very clearly, from the balconies below us to the mass of people down on the very bottom level who looked like the equivalent of sardines in a tin, squashed.

As the lights went down, the crowd went insane.
3OH!3 came on just after 9:30pm for an hour long slot:

Set List -
Beaumont

Punkkbitch

The crowd were totally taking in every single second of what they were a part of, singing along to all the words, jumping and screaming.

3OH!3 were AMAZING! They interacted with the crowd at various points throughout the show by either pointing out the 3OH!3 foam hands, and Sean even wore some on his head, and then during ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane’, Nat got to the front of the crowd asking if they could sing it better and even let one girl attempt to do better than him and the band. I would highly recommend everybody see them as they put on a great musical show, and it is just one of those experiences that you will never forget.
